Thanks for the welcome! I also just edited Scourge, Slug, and Steeljaw to complete the MTM stats for the card list table. I uploaded photos of Slug & Steeljaw, but IE keeps crashing when I try to upload Scourge.
I appreciate it...like I've said before, I enjoy knowing that SOMEONE is reading my posts.
This last one may be "wishful thinking," like you said, but I there's always the change Mobage might take the hint. They troll these boards, so I know they see it. At least this way I've done half the work for them. All they have to do is ask for a copy of the spreadsheet and I'll give it to them
Yeah, that's an AWACS radome in my avatar. I fly on 'em, but I'm an instructor, now.
It is nice to see that someone else is willing to take on the task of creating the card pages. Thanks a lot, with the start of classes I am much busier than I was over the summer.
Just a few notes so that we are on the same page.
1) Use in-game names. If there is already a card with the same in-game name, number successive versions (2, 3, 4, ...). This means that a weapon's name should include the in-game number (regardless of wiki number) and the word "Weapon" should be capitalized. We are trying to get a solid standard.
2) Thuroughly check the wiki to confirm the correct names. You can do this by typing the basic name (for example, Brawl) into the search bar. It is important that you check the page itself becuase the real name is on the image. There have been some cases where pages have been misnumbered. For example, some of the early "Weapon 2"s did not include the number in the wiki page name. As such, simply looking at the page title will be misleading and cause incorrect titles for successive entries. In other words:
a) Confirm that the name you are assigning is the correct one even if it makes the older wiki titles inconsistent. For example, if "Weapon 2" is labeled simply as "Weapon" name the new one "Weapon 3".
b) Verify that you are not overwriting an existing page. During S.O.S. Dinobots, some users accidentally overwrote a valid card page with new information. I still have to restore the old page and move the new one. The last thing we want is to loose the data on the cards that we already have.
3) One of the admins recently released a template for evolve characters. Use that where needed.
If you got this far, thanks for sticking with me. I hope you haven't taken offense because I simply wanted to make sure that we are on the same page as each other.
I completely understand, thanks. I don't THINK I made any mistakes like that...I went with the card names straight from the game when I made those entries, and I didn't create Omega Supreme 2's page because someone already had, it was crap, and I didn't know if I added a page if it would over-write or create a duplicate.
If I DID make a mistake, I sincerely apologize. I'll pay closer attention in the future. Thanks for the tips!
Question: is the Evolve template the "Infobox evo" selection in the dropdown menu?
