Don't create the page. In the past, users have tried to solve the issue by reverting to the old system. For example, Scourge (3) versus Evolve Scourge (3). This really just creates more confusion.
There was also a name conflict with another recent event (Last Stand of the Earth Defense Command). Just leave a note on the event page as to why you didn't create the page. If you feel comfortable, notify Mobage. If not, I will.
I am looking into what can be done about these multiple naming conflicts. It looks like there may be a disambiguation template we can use.
You can still make the pages and stuff. It is just that we need to make a note to check on the image later. That way, it will already be in place incase it is not a mistake. In the case that it is a mistake, it will serve as a place holder.
I don't know for sure but, if you have been cropping your images, I don't think you need to. IfI recall correctly, Brockrb was cropping them because he was having trouble with the image auto-sizing. Well, I think I have identified the problem as a simple mistake. I suspect that he sometimes reassigned the value "imagewidth" which would of course cause this problem.
I don't know for sure yet so keep in mind that this is only a hypothesis. I have tried to contact him about this but he hasn't responded yet.
By cropping do you mean resizing? I crop my images but I leave them the same size as they originally were on my phone. I crop out the stuff like the status bar and the darkened background that is the game and not part of the card. The images have been resizing fine in the templates for me.
Well, yes and no. If I recall correctly, he started cropping to get the correct size. Although, I suppose we could do that to get rid of the background as well. All I needed to know was whether or not they were resizing correctly.
I noticed that there was a lot of information already out last night when pre-registration started. I decided to take screenshots before I went to sleep and moved them to my computer today. It was useful that they had the MTM stats for Inferno, Autobot Ratchet, and Galvatron on that window that pops up before you can click start. The weapons were in the Day Wins rewards as well so that was nice. I already upgraded my Tankor (1) Weapon from the previous event though so I'm hoping someone has a screenshot of the original.
I just noticed that the Space Bridge Ruby Rewards has the Alt mode picture for Inferno so I'm doing that now. I wish they also included the larger image for the weapon, oh well.
Oh did you see the x30 Synergon offer for Transformers AoE in the event? That's like a month of logging in so it's pretty good I guess. I wonder how they're going to tie our accounts on here to our accounts on there though. There's no Mobage login on the other game and I'm connected through Facebook.

I was told that on AOE if you tap on the mobage logo that comes up at the start it then gives u the option to log in using your mobage username and PW. Once you have linked your FB account tho, Im not sure if that will work.
I don't see a Mobage logo on AoE unless I go into Settings. There I only see the option of viewing other Games and Bank. I have connected to Facebook on here but not on Transformers Legends. Any idea how to do it for TFL?
Hi there. I noticed that you created the page for Fan favorite a few minutes ago. Thanks for doing that. I don't know why but for some reason the page was either deleted or never created. How long have you been playing this game?
I actually just started playing recently during the Signature Series event. I was going through the list after adding Fire on the Mountain and noticed a page missing. I don't know all of the information so I added what I was able to gather from the official blog. I just saw that you replied also on Brockrb's wall so I'll go check that out too.
I play for free too. What do you do during events? I remember I tried really hard during the SS:GG event so I got into like the top 5000 I think for the two Sharkticon Gnaw cards. I just spend my medals and upgrade when I get like 100/200 or so. Maybe I was lucky and people were resting during that event. I personally like the black and white cards though.
I usually 1-cube low bosses and wait forever to get help requests for higher level bosses. The thing is, I only get bosses with low levels (for example, Sharkticon Gnaw 1-5) so I can't get too high on my own. However, anywhere from 1/2 to 2/3 of the help requests I get disappear before I can even tap on them (I have kept records for the past few events). So, that usualy leaves me oscillating around 10k position. Consequently, I have a lot of half characters. I used to at least get the robot mode and weapon for the lower multiplier episode card from the points reward. This helped a bit but I only got it neear the end of the event. Then, they increased the number of points needed for the weapon, so I only got the robot mode. Now, they don't even offer it as a points reward.
Of course, that is raid events. Team and campaign events I just try to do the best I can. The first team event they decided to require mobage accounts. Since I had a guest account up till that point, I was unable to play while they transfered the game data. That process conveniently took the entire week. From that event, a lot of people got easy cards, so from that point on I was behind. On more recent team events, I have had a mix of luck. The ony one I got decent cards from was Me, Grimlock, King. That is because the first time around, Mobage really messed up. As an apology, thery gave all participants a bunch of rewards including an exclusive Slug. At least, I think it was Slug. I will check that later.
For campaign events, I usually just go as far as the first mission with a suggested DP higher than mine. Then I consider how much time is left and how many times I will be able to play in that time. Then I determine whether or not to go for 4 cards of a boss so that I can max evolve it. Only recently has my DP been high enough to go after the medium boss. Previous to that, it was only the easy boss.
I haven't really analyzed how I play or developed any strategies yet. I guess I just got lucky.
Later on during the Signature Series when I understood how the event worked I saved all my of BC for level 9 bosses. I was able to get quite a few help requests so I got up there. Later when they changed the event or something I started targeting the ones that gave more ruby medals (level 9 Straxus I believe) and eventually got 700 for the Pointblank weapon. The Sharkticon Gnaw's definitely added a lot of power to my deck.
With the team event I only had one day win but I got 2 Snarl and an alt mode so I'm in the process of MTMing that. I also just got my first Orion Pax from login bonuses so I might evo that sometime. I'm not sure what I'll do for the rest of this event. I just finished Hard stage 6 and it was a struggle. Metroplex took a 3-cube attack and then I did another 2-cube just to make sure. I might end up just taking it easy this time and try to stock up recharges. I'm saving my chains for later and I may try to just get 2 more Cliffjumper's and 3 Silverstreak's if I have time. I probably won't be able to stay in the top 5000 at this pace but 10000 shouldn't be an issue.
As a point of clarification, the reason why the first team event really set me back was that it was also the release of R6 cards. Thus, a lot of people got a DP boost while I got nothing.
In case you are curious I took these screen shots of the loyalty/apology rewards they handed out during the first run though of Me, Grimlock, King. This was the major one. there were also a few others.
That looks pretty good. I wish I had some more BC, just missed the 500 bonus I heard they gave. Does that mean I'm probably going to be stuck around my current deck power for a while? I'm hitting 11k. I still have some things to upgrade though so I think it'll go up a bit more. Hopefully I can MTM or evolve some more.
No. You'll probably surpass me like everyone else. I have been at this for a year and somehow those playing for a month are able to do better than me. I just can't seem to get it quite right.
This is especially the case with team events. Last time, I was on a team is mgyamfi, one of the top 10 players. Also on our team were players who had just started (at level < 10 and DP < 2000). Even though we lost the second day, those players are going to have a mega dp boost just from the 1-day-win awards. If mgyamfi had it his way, we would have won all 5 days. Just image going from a DP < 2000 to having King Grimlock. Hardly seems fair considering earlier players had to pay out of their noses for cards that are now extrememly inferior.
That is weird. I passed 12k today when I spent some medals and upgraded a few people. How are your upgrade levels and weapons? I'm not sure what I'm doing right. I do redo the recommend every time I get a better card or something and it adjusts my deck for me.
I upgrade using cards I find during scanning. But I don't want to talk about me specifically much more. I have already exhausted the topic talking with Godofcyanide. The point I was trying to make is that the same progress that used to take lots of time and money can now be achieved in a single episode for almost nothing if you get the right team.
That's alright. It seems like your efforts lie more on the wiki side than the game which is admirable. It does seem quite easy to get a decent start now with luck. How's the work on this wiki? It seems like you're tidying up a lot of things.
I wouldn't say that. I think it is about 50/50 perhaps leaning more towards the game. Although, that is just between the game and the wiki. When comparing real life to the game/wiki, well, it is a lot more biased.
Yes, and there is a lot to be tidied up. During the time when Mobage made a lot of changes (aka the school year), I was busy with schoolwork. Naturally, I wasn't on as often. Hence, others tried valiantly to keep up with the changes.
The issue was that a lot of them didn't really understand the "finer" points of the wiki code behind the scenes. I use the word "finer" cautiously because I don't know a lot myself. I just know more than most of them did/do. As a result, modifications were often performed in a crude manner. For instance, I think the variables in the evolve character infobox^ template could have been better named. However, there are too many pages that use that template to change it now.
Hence, the best I can do is work with the already established variable names. Even so, there is some additional maintenance to go done. You may have noticed that there are smart lists on this wiki. For them to work, the variables in a template need to be properly documented as properties. That is how the lists know what data to use. For the evolve infobox, all of the new variables still need to be made into properties. It isn't terribly difficult, it is just that no one else knew it had to be done.
A precautionary rule I have been following is to spend a lot of time studying the code before changing templates, properties, and other such site-wide code. The reason is that minimization of errors and missed tries is needed since errors have impact on a large number of other parts of the wiki. That is not to say you need to get it correct the first time, but you also don't want any catastrophic errors. Just an FYI in case you want to try it for yourself.
