I have a serious question, why do some of you spend so much on this game? I have read of people spending up to 700 bucks an episode, which could 2800 a month.
I make pretty good money with my living, and I could never fathom spending so much on this game.
And don't get defensive, I want to know.
Tier 2 is easy without paying a cent, Ive just been playing this game for a month and I've gotten T2 very comfortably with the help of people on this wiki.
In fact I believe with the introduction of this new Ruby system, that with some patience (in collecting BCs) and with a bit of luck (drawing raid card MTMs from rubies) a T1 run might actually be possible without spending money.
I've actually started saving up resources for just such an attempt sometime in the near future, will let you know how it goes. However T2 runs, I am sure are gonna be easy lockins with no money spent.
I am thinking about my 10 T2 goal again. I have about 200 BCs saved up. The only thing that sucks is that I work 10 hour days the last 3 days and I am not able to bring a phone into work.
Bah, I missed it by 18 slots, such a let down.
I spent $400 on S.O.S Dinobots because that was my buyin event... Meaning my first intro to the game... I could see myself spending maybe $50 an event... $100 if there is a card I really want
So just curious, how much have some of you spent this month on all of this?
dude - why do you keep wanting to know how much people spent ? it's all relative to how much wealth they have and/or how much they make ..
It's a curriosity thing, if you don't want to answer fine, I just want to put things into perspective, that's all.
And when you say relative that could very well be wrong, someone could spend more than they could afford easily on this.
I've spent maybe $5 total in 3 months. Yeah my deck sucks but whatever. It's something to do when I'm at work. Saying how much a person spends is relative to how much they make is pretty ignorant though. I made $6000 yesterday and I still wont be spending anything more than a couple bucks a month on a virtual card game.
For some people like you - it's a matter of principle - you wont spend unnecessary money on virtual card/online games.. Even if you earn a million bucks a day, and that's perfectly fine.

I have spent 20 bucks, but man it's like having a steak waved in front of me (my wife is a health nut so I only have steak once a month on date night). I would love one day to spend 200 bucks on a space bridge run and when my wife asked (if some way she found out) I would pull out my johnson and slam it on the table and scream "I'm the man of the house and I will SPEND my MONEY on whatever I want too".
The thing is later that night I would be sleeping on the couch with a sore johnson, askingmyself if the x10 cards were worth it.
